Review on Lite On LH20A1H: High-Speed Super All Write LightScribe DVD/Dual LayerRW Drive - 20x by Joseph Stone

I've been using this Lite-On burner for almost half a year now and it was a major upgrade to my (old) system. It just works brilliantly. I've burned (literally) hundreds of discs of all types and haven't had any problems with this drive. LightScribe is particularly useful when you create "special" DVDs or CDs. I found the drive to be fairly quiet, although I know some others find it too loud. Noise is usually due to the recording speed you chose to record. If you select a high speed (e.g. 48x) you may hear a "noise" from the recording device. However, keep in mind that speed is not necessarily your friend when creating discs. DVDs especially benefit from lower burning speeds to prevent errors. In any case, this is a great product. Highly recommended.
