My wife loves all kinds of glass and makes glassware and jewellery. They seemed perfect to her and in truth she really likes them and loves to wear glass that people used thousands of years ago. However, they are not blue, they are grey, and that completely changes them. The transition from blue to gray transforms them from something flashy and attention-grabbing to something ordinary and boring. It's jewel elevator music designed to blend into the background so they don't get noticed. This is the opposite of why most people wear jewelry. So she wants to keep them because I gave them to her. But I'm a little disappointed and I want her to get what I wanted.
