I was skeptical at first but if you follow the instructions it's really quite simple to remove the chip from the HP cartridge and put it in place them on this. The print quality seems just as good to me, but I don't print photos, just paperwork. I saved about 75% compared to buying HP cartridges. Even if they last half as long as HP, they're still worth the savings. The only downside is that you don't know how much ink you have left until it starts to disappear during printing. It's not a big deal to me and definitely not worth a few hundred bucks.
