Actually I bought it for the first time about a year ago. The plastic interior didn't impress me. I also saw that the rubber gasket between the cover and the rack would look ugly. I sent it back thinking I would find something else. Everything else I found seemed worse or very expensive (Ferguson type stuff). But after 6 months of searching I couldn't find anything better so I re-ordered it and decided I'd make it work. Pretty much everything else you read in these reviews is correct. It seems a bit cheap / flimsy. There's barely enough thread to attach it if your surface is 1-1/2 inches thick. Here's how I got it to work: I put the ugly spacer under the counter instead of on top. Yes, that is technically incorrect. It would be advisable to attach the cap to the frame. This can be done with clear polyester caulk or clear silicone. The metal cap fits onto the nut when you press hard. goes well with our stainless steel Delta Artic faucet.
