I bought this clay set as a starter kit to learn how to make jewelry out of polymer clay. From the very first pack of clay I tried I was disappointed with every aspect of this purchase. While another reviewer for this item noted that the tote bag was broken, the one I received was fine. That's the only good thing I can say. This sound was poorly packaged. It arrived with many partially opened flowers and clay exposed. Worse, those that were open were thrown onto the dirty floor. There was such small debris on the open white clay that I just threw it away. I bought new white clay from my local craft store. Before conditioning, the clay is very wet on the outside. My hands were drenched in the unscented oil whenever I tried to treat or use it. Once the clay is warm after conditioning, the saltwater toffee is easy to work with. During conditioning, the clay on my hands loses its color. Another bad experience. Forget about making sticks from this material. Just too soft, and even simple pieces don't get any better. The whole time I thought that I am the problem and that I just don't have good techniques yet because, as I said before, I bought this clay kit to learn how to make jewelry out of clay. As soon as I started using this white toner set I realized that it wasn't my technique, it was just that this tone was a bad choice. Let me too. NO WHERE NEARBY .what the pictures show. Yes, there is variety, but the colors are generally not as vivid as the photos portray. Bottom line: If you don't mind your baby hands being covered in paint, this seems like a good thing for kids. However, if you need a choice of colors for making clay jewelry, I recommend not choosing this set.
