Review on Breville-Nespresso USA Red CitiZ Espresso Machine by Andrew Woodruff

I saved a dime on this machine and was so happy when it arrived. I had a Nespresso espresso at a friend's and I really enjoyed it so I was really surprised when I made my first cup and it was awful. I've tried several pods in the welcome pack with the same result: a slightly faint pungent bitter taste and a tart taste that I just can't get rid of. I did a little research. I found out that it can be calibrated. I calibrated it. I measured the water several times to make sure I calibrated it correctly and made my first cup. Again disappointment. I tried another capsule. Same results. The same unpleasant flavors, but stronger. Almost all the pods tasted the same. Is it just me, or is it just impossible to make a good cup of coffee with a tiny machine? My friend had one of the big and expensive ones and I'm starting to think you can't get good coffee out of a small "cheap". small car. I am seriously considering sending it back. I'm just not happy with this purchase.
