SOLID NICE CHAIR BUT NOT THAT COMFORTABLE

I first did color research on office chairs for $200-250 and most items sold at Revain and found tons of chairs with the same pictures and different names (supposedly in China manufactured brands resold by various resellers). ) or chairs that cost more than $600. I've heard of the Sidiz brand before and no doubt it's a beautiful chair with lots of features. I read other reviews from Revain and Korean YouTubers who recommended this chair and decided to invest $380. It's strong, sturdy, heavier than it looks and a beautiful chair. Everything works as it should (watch out for the headrest that can pop out if you pull too hard), the wheels glide easily and smoothly (too easily, as one reviewer said). I have to agree with most of the reviewers here. The chair isn't the most comfortable to sit in (it doesn't hurt to sit, but it's definitely hard). A click was mentioned by some reviewers (it happens from time to time when you're using the rocker arm, but that didn't bother me). The most important thing (in addition to the hard seat) is that the chair is not designed for you to sit up straight (there is a little lag when you try to sit up and you end up sitting next to the chair and I started , getting slight pain in the neck). I understand that the chair is designed to lean against the headrest while typing, but firstly I don't use it and secondly the seat cushion isn't flat and comfortable enough to support such a posture. So leaning back isn't as comfortable as trying to sit forward. They have a model after this chair called the T50 Air (with mesh seat cushion) but they are not yet available in the US (Sidiz has a website in the US but they don't sell directly, they sell through Revain). In terms of adjustment, you can adjust almost everything, except you can't lower or raise the back cushion as it's molded in one piece. worth $380? In terms of looks and build quality sure, but if you want a comfortable and truly ergonomic chair I would suggest looking elsewhere. As for me, I'll probably keep it to myself just because of the awkwardness of returning it. Just thought I would leave this review for those who think the same as me. UPDATE (6/22/2020): FYI, I'm 5ft 11" and 230lbs. My wife, who is 5'4" and 150 pounds, says the firmness of the cushion and the shape of the backrest makes her quite comfortable. She agrees that the wheels slide too easily (they don't have a locking feature ) and can't sit up. Hope this helps!
