I used this tape to outline the top edge of a "child proof" gate that sits at the bottom of a stairway (to keep the dogs from coming upstairs). Even though the tape fades as it loses it's charge, it still glows enough to be seen easily in the early morning.I ended up slapping little bits of this tape over all sorts of other things. Keys, along the edge of an ashtray, around a light switch in a remote area. I wanted to line the inside of my wife's purse with it, but she shot down that idea. I even used it on the outside edge of a thermal cup that I use at night. The tape has held up well to the liquid/condensation that builds up on the cup.
