I'm replacing some old cables that have gotten a bit finicky/faulty and they have a nice, firm fit, nice rubberized finish that's nice to the touch and easy to grip, and I particularly like them the spring loaded wire where it meets hard plastic plugs on both ends. This seems to be the weak point in most cables (including the ones I replace) and bending stress is often the reason why it fails. That spring seems to hold things in alignment to keep them from snapping and it looks like it should be a stronger cord overall.
