It's really great, but if you have a size 8 child, go up a size. They are perfect for a size 7. Our daughter is thinner than a size 8 but has very muscular thick thighs. This makes the shorts on them a little snuggly for them. She has some sensory issues so nothing can be cozy. The waistband is not very soft and unforgiving, so plus-size children will need tight clothing or a larger size for this. Otherwise the pattern and material are great. I like them in general, as does my daughter. We only wish they were a little bigger.
