For special occasions and holiday meals, my mother always uses her fine cutlery, which she inherited from her grandmother. They're nice pieces, but eventually my mother stopped using silver polish and good cutlery wasn't that good anymore. All details faded and the tips of the forks began to blacken. It looked like someone was using our good forks to roast marshmallows over a campfire. No matter how many times we washed our silver cutlery, it never regained its luster. After last month's Thanksgiving dinner, I decided to do the silver polishing. I wasn't sure what polish to use so I decided to try Weiman Silver Cream as I thought it was a good price. There is a small sponge in the container. All you have to do is dampen a sponge or your own towel, then rub and rinse the silver. The great thing about this product is that you don't have to rub very hard and it removes the most stubborn tarnish and stains with ease. I was very impressed when I washed the cream off the cutlery. My forks that once looked like they were fried with marshmallows were now in perfect condition. They shone like new and I could practically use freshly washed spoons as a mirror! This product is great! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who needs to clean their silver. It's easy to use, gets the job done and the end result is amazing!
