Review on 🔌 METRA Ltd 70-1677-1: Upgraded Gm Vehicle Harness (1978-1991) for Seamless Integration by Jim Ball

Metra's website insists it will fit a 1989 Pontiac Firebird and the Revain spec sheet confirms this, but it's a long way from a factory fit. My car came from the factory with a 21 pin connector which will not work with this connector. Probably a good product for the respective vehicles, but having to wait a few days to get it and then having to start over is disappointing. The 21 pin connectors should actually be using Metra PN 70-1858 if I'm doing my homework right. Make sure you check your vehicle configuration before ordering this item!
