Easy installation. for car electronics accessories

Pretty easy to connect the wires after making sure my guess was right and the wires from the head unit and the wiring harness matched.

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • easy repairability

Cheap and works!

Worked great at Monte Carlo in 1986. I used it to connect the front speaker wires in series to the rear speakers. These leads were cut from the rear speakers and connected to the amp, and new short wires were run to the rear speakers.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Protection

Revane says it won't fit but as others have pointed out it will fit the connectors on my 1992 Chevrolet S10. It was a straight fit with all the wires fitting perfectly. There was enough space behind the radio for connections, which could also be hidden.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Modern

No fitty our Car on Vehicle Audio & Video Installation

This does not fit 1986 Cadillac Seville radio connectors, not even close. It was checked 4 times before ordering so it was the part specified. All other Metra parts were fine. The attached photo shows the actual connections for a 1986 Cadillac Seville. They don't look compatible - because they aren't.

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Negative Impression

Not quite right. best car electronics accessory

It didn't connect in the same way as the front speaker terminals for my '79 Corvette. Accordingly, I had to connect the Metra wiring harness to the new radio wiring harness. Positive to negative is reversed and the right front speaker wires had to be connected to a pair of rear speaker wires on the Metra wiring harness (there are no rear speakers in the car). The light, ground, and ignition wire connector on the vehicle matched the Metra wire harness.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Upgradeable

The larger part is perfect, but the smaller part doesn't fit where it is.

Bought for my 87 Blazer and it has worked most of the time. Most of it is perfect, but the smaller part doesn't fit where it should. This wasn't a big deal as modern head units don't use a backlight wire so I stripped the yellow wire and routed it straight to the radio harness. This part of the blazer is a fork of the same style, but it's too small for the included fork.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

Metra's website insists it will fit a 1989 Pontiac Firebird and the Revain spec sheet confirms this, but it's a long way from a factory fit. My car came from the factory with a 21 pin connector which will not work with this connector. Probably a good product for the respective vehicles, but having to wait a few days to get it and then having to start over is disappointing. The 21 pin connectors should actually be using Metra PN 70-1858 if I'm doing my homework right. Make sure you check your…

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Fits 1991 S-10 Blazer Factory Harness

First of all you need to know that this harness fits a 1991 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer. Revain says it won't fit, but if you order one that "fits" (Metra 70-1858 radio harness to GM 88-05 harness) you'll be disappointed. I recommend pulling out your factory deck and checking the fork style on the back of the deck. This pendant is exactly what I needed and what I expected. It fits the factory plugs easily, the plugs appear to be of decent quality. If you have questions about which wires are connected

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak
