The description of these boots says "full grain leather" but this is the worst and cheapest polyurethane I have ever seen in a shoe. Not only that, they smell so awful, like someone threw up in a box. The smell emanating from these boots is unbelievable and unbearable. I put them in the sun for an hour or two to see if the smell dissipated; it's not like this. However, I forced myself to try them on. I'm a standard size 10 for almost every brand of shoe and have ordered 10 in these boots. They were wide and sloppy with a thick, soft foam insole, which I don't think would be good if you plan on using them for everyday use like I do. In these boots you have very little awareness and contact with the stirrup iron. In addition, they were very poorly made, the seams did not fit and the sole was glued crookedly. Overall I can't say enough bad things about this boot. I wouldn't even buy them because I shit in the barn. I wouldn't force them on a kid as the first pair of cheap riders. Just really terrible shoes, I'm shocked at how bad they are. They immediately returned it and replaced it with Ariat boots - a brand that is always high quality and reliable.
