Everything is fine. Not even close to the beanie hat I also bought and used. This cap is narrow and difficult to plan. I survived wearing it because I really needed some light in some dark hallways. The lights are bright and do the job well, but really 3 settings is way too many. Sometimes it's just better. Maybe a focused direct light and then a second general brightness adjustment. It's just that the beam is way further in front of me than I'd like and it fits, uh, I feel like I'm breaking a baby hat on my head.
