My 12 year old cat has recently started to urinate and spit up. I put it down to his dislike of the older cat who had only recently joined the family. I was right, but not in the way I thought. It turns out stress can cause cats to get crystals in their urine! I never thought this could happen with premium cat food! The cat is on the Rx diet but I am concerned about the very hard water where I live. Many years ago I tried to get cats to drink bottled water but they refused to drink it. This Pur mug is the answer! It tastes like tap water, but many of the impurities have been removed. Now I feel like I'm doing my best to keep my furry boy healthy and hope the spraying stops soon. (It takes about a month for the Rx diet to work.) I don't want to take a big jug and put it full on the top shelf of the fridge. The silicone pad on the handle makes it comfortable. As with cats, I now have the best water in my Nespresso and to dilute my wine. FYI: My vet told me that some cats are genetically prone to urinary crystals. Drink filtered water and quality foods before the problems start!
