I started buying this product for my rescue kitten after I was recalled by Iams because melamine was discovered in the wheat gluten of some of their wet food products. My vet and I believe cats need a balanced diet of wet and dry food, but to my surprise, MANY wet cat foods contain wheat gluten. Sheba is one of the few brands that doesn't do this. . . read the label. . it's all meat stuffed with tapioca; Tapioca is usually made from rice. My little daughter is turning 5 this year and she LOVES her Sheba! She gets a glass with dinner and 1/2 cup of Hill's Science Diet Adult Indoor Cat Food High Quality dry granules for breakfast.
