I tried many chairs before deciding on this one. I'm so glad I did. It is very comfortable yet stylish. Couldn't be happier. I figured the roundness of the butt might end up tickling my OCD, but it actually has a neat feature. Much more comfortable to rest your feet. The center seat height is 24 inches (with 0.5 inch leg caps) when measuring from the floor to the bottom of the seat, about 25 inches when sitting with a half inch board and flattened foam. I hope this helps as I had trouble figuring out what the actual seat height was when I ordered.
