Avoid! It might work, but probably not, and there are better and cheaper options.
This product was purchased to replace a standard cable that was too short. This cable didn't have the terminals that I've seen on other DP cables, but also had the shorter standard cable that I substituted. During the initial installation, the display remained black. A slight wobble made it rise for a moment, but it went black again. After fiddling with it a bit, the clamps didn't seem quite right. The one that went to the monitor felt really bad, and the one that went to the GPU felt like it wouldn't quite fit in (the plastic casing on the connectors seems too thick). Revain was great at getting my money back and I subsequently purchased this item: GearIT Gold Plated DisplayPort to DisplayPort 10ft - 4K Resolution Cable (DP to DP Cable) Black I installed it.
