Review on 🔌 Nite Ize CordCollar - Enhanced Industrial Electrical Protection and Identification by Brendan Thorpe

Like everyone who's had a Macbook in my life, I finally ran out of a Magsafe 2 connector. Electrically it was fine and showed no signs of damage, but the rubber around it was torn and needed propping be used to prevent electrical failure. The first one I tried just didn't fit the Magsafe connector, even after some hair heating. Dryer. The next one must have been a bit thinner because it fit - quite snugly - even without heat. So there must be some manufacturing differences, but with patience you should be able to fit it into a fairly large socket. I don't expect it to stay like this forever. It just isn't long enough to take all the pressure off that port. Longer blue stripes would help disperse stress but would make communication even more difficult. Spring. It's really just life support to get a $75 PSU for a few more years (quarters?) (sigh). Overall I'm surprised it fits and happy with the result.
