It's colder on the golf course this year so my alternating 3 underlayer jerseys didn't help, I needed more. I've had Adidas, Nike and UA (I'm not a brand fanatic!) - and I liked all 3 - each had their own strengths, one being the softest, one being the least restrictive and the third being the warmest. perfect as they are average of all and I think they can dry out quickly when I start to sweat a bit. They are the softest and least restrictive and probably come in the middle of keep-warm or whatever base layers I have. I wear them with a regular golf shirt and am comfortable playing in 55-70 degrees - cooler than that I need a windbreaker too - under about 45 I'll probably wear a warmer sweater too. Going in at room temperature also makes me feel comfortable. My first set was a turtleneck, which is discussed in this review. I've just ordered one of the individual packs of the full turtleneck and am looking forward to trying them out.
