True red. Make sure they're reversed correctly by strobing them.
Very satisfied so far. Very deep and true red when used in taillights. They are also slightly brighter than my standard 2825 bulbs. They seemed to work with either polarity, but one position turned the bulb off when turned on/off. To fix this I reversed it. Maybe a diode or whatever they use to make them work both ways is slow to respond. As for the picture. These lights are the left trunk interior lights. Inside right side available.
