UPDATE: After 18 months all of these bulbs have been replaced but the previous bulbs last 8-10 years on the same cycle - they're not all gone. When one of the lights went out, a patch on the ceiling melted. This time the team at Revain's Choice didn't choose so well. These tubes are a hassle to install and the color is not very pleasing, at least to me. Firstly there are no rivets on the ends so it was very difficult to screw the tubes into the lamp. When they're so small there's nothing to hold on to and you'll have to deal with a spring-loaded socket. The copper pins on these pipes appear to be slightly larger in diameter, which may have contributed to the problem.
