Read the instructions better than me.

I only purchased this 1" kit to because the pro said that nothing has to be done with 1 inch, except to use sockets. Not right. There is a full page of instructions that include moving and cutting the fan shroud, and the square piece shown is the shifter extension. Took all day to install this kit and assemble the rest. If I had known I had to do all this work I would have chosen 2 inches. No difference in effort.
