Good things first: These shoes are a great combination of business and casual style, and the brown, oily leather color was just what I was looking for. The shoes were amazingly comfortable straight out of the box, no break-in period required. I wore them for two days walking around CES and my feet couldn't be happier. Now for the bad: After a business trip, the shoes look as if they were five years old. Where they naturally crease at the top (as with all shoes) the color has already faded making them look old and worn. Likewise, the color wears off where the leather meets the rubber outsole. This area isn't immediately apparent, but it quickly gets worse. I guess I could try to find some brown shoe polish and try to make them look better, but I wouldn't have to do that in just a few days. wear. So unfortunately I'm going to send it back and look around for something better. I've always heard good things about Clark's shoes, but this has to be one of their (much) budget shoes.
