My everyday work shoes

These are the only shoes I've worn to work and almost everywhere for 4 years. First let me say that I am very picky about my boots. I'm on my feet most of the day, going about my business and doing whatever needs to be done. I first got a pair of these back for Christmas about 3 or 4 years ago. I liked how they look and feel. I wear 2-3 pairs a year which is not bad as I am very picky about my shoes. I wore showers completely smooth and didn't even know it until every type of water looked like…

Pros
  • The best in their niche
Cons
  • Something's wrong

Cheap for Clarks on Shoes

Very disappointed in these Clarks! The sole is plastic, not rubber. You can't get traction with plastic soles! My son has the same shoes he bought in a store a few years ago with rubber soles. Either Clarks equips their shoes with a cheaper sole, or it's another manufacturer buying shoes online through Revain.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • No automatic

Nothing for people who work.

I have been a fan of Clark for many years. I work in retail and they have always been the most comfortable and lasted the longest. This couple wasn't worth it. They are only 2 months old and the sole is smooth, no more grip. The foam bottom makes the shoe lighter but less durable. This couple also started to break down internally and had no support for my feet. I'm on my feet all day and need shoes that are comfortable and durable.

  • Beautiful

The plastic soles are the only downside, but otherwise they're great!

My husband had Clarks loafers that were used to death so I wanted to get him a spare to wear to work. They looked great, smart enough for an IT manager at work, but not so formal that they looked worn with regular use. In this respect they are ideal. Our ONLY complaint and I think it's partly my fault for not checking what the sole is made of. His earlier Clarks are clearly equipped with a durable rubber outsole that can even be worn on ice. They have crocodile leather soles. Luckily it's…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Weak Set

Clark screwed it up badly!

EXTREMELY hard footbed. NOTHING compares to her comfortable shoes before. I've been wearing Clark's in different styles for at least 10 years and they stopped making comfortable shoes! This is my last pair of Clark shoes that I will be buying until they go back to their normally comfortable and quality shoes. Do you listen to guidance?

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Can be damaged

Five stars for comfort, zero stars for durability

Good things first: These shoes are a great combination of business and casual style, and the brown, oily leather color was just what I was looking for. The shoes were amazingly comfortable straight out of the box, no break-in period required. I wore them for two days walking around CES and my feet couldn't be happier. Now for the bad: After a business trip, the shoes look as if they were five years old. Where they naturally crease at the top (as with all shoes) the color has already faded…

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Cheap soles, split leather

I have wide feet and have worn Clarks shoes for many years. I've never had a pair that wasn't comfortable. I work in an office where business attire is the norm. I bought these to help with a knee problem that my shoes contributed to. I needed more cushioning day by day. They look good enough that I can wear them with a coat and tie without raising my eyebrows. I've been wearing them for two days now. They fit as expected, I wear 10W in other Clarks and they fit true to size. They are well…

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Some imperfections
