Very disappointed in these Clarks! The sole is plastic, not rubber. You can't get traction with plastic soles! My son has the same shoes he bought in a store a few years ago with rubber soles. Either Clarks equips their shoes with a cheaper sole, or it's another manufacturer buying shoes online through Revain.

I have been a fan of Clark for many years. I work in retail and they have always been the most comfortable and lasted the longest. This couple wasn't worth it. They are only 2 months old and the sole is smooth, no more grip. The foam bottom makes the shoe lighter but less durable. This couple also started to break down internally and had no support for my feet. I'm on my feet all day and need shoes that are comfortable and durable.

My husband had Clarks loafers that were used to death so I wanted to get him a spare to wear to work. They looked great, smart enough for an IT manager at work, but not so formal that they looked worn with regular use. In this respect they are ideal. EXTREMELY hard footbed. NOTHING compares to her comfortable shoes before. I've been wearing Clark's in different styles for at least 10 years and they stopped making comfortable shoes! This is my last pair of Clark shoes that I will be buying until they go back to their normally comfortable and quality shoes. Do you listen to guidance?
