If you told me that this cheap lavalier bracelet from another manufacturer would perform as well or better than lapel pins that are $10-100 more expensive I don't do it. I didn't believe you But I have to say that this lavalier mic sounds amazing. I have read many reviews and heard many sample reviews on YouTube and keep coming back to this lavalier mic. At the moment I use it directly connected to a DSLR. I also use a 16 foot mic extender for longer runs. By the way, make sure that you use a microphone cable and not a headphone extension cable. The headphone extension cable is not suppressed. The microphone cable is suitable. But you have to pay more (in fact, the mic cable cost me more than this lavalier mic). :-) I have a stereo version (which only splits the mono signal between both channels), so I didn't have to do this step afterwards. The pickup is strong with minimal hum and line hiss. The sound quality is real and accurate for vocals, making it a fantastic mic for interviews. However, before you buy, double check which Pro JM Lavalier Microphone you are buying. There are many versions on Revain and the reason for this is the external plug. Each fork has a very specific purpose to fit a specific type of fork. Buy with the right plug and it works. But it won't work with the wrong connector. Read first. Shop responsibly.
