As a beginner I wanted to practice with vinyl. After reading the reviews I was hesitant to make this purchase but figured I wouldn't lose a lot of money if things went badly. This vinyl comes flat which was nice. None of the leaves were damaged. There are many colors. I found that small letters are very difficult. The letters do not stick to the base. Transfer sheets are minimally tacky, which is difficult but not impossible when picking up designs. Cuts very well. I also have a nice new blade that helps. In general I like it. I used it to make large signs for my high school student who is graduating this year. The cut outs were perfect and it stuck well to the cardboard. I would buy this again.
