I never thought I'd become a band connoisseur but given the circumstances I'm becoming quite knowledgeable. And picky. Because I often break and recycle boxes, I've found that it's better to reinforce the box with something stronger than shipping tape. I used masking tape or duct tape, but I needed something more economical. So far, so good. The tape is good: good adhesion and threads give me hope that the packages I send will reach the whole continent or the world. Yes, the backing of this tape seems to be thinner than duct tape or tape, but it has some strength with threads. But the description of the ribbon is not misleading, it's a savings ribbon so like a dollar store mailer ribbon that you can pick up and untangle during use, you get what you pay for. However, this is a much better quality than what the dollar stores are offering. It is a good strong band though and I will most likely be reordering once the last of the 4 rolls I originally ordered has run out.
