Matching but only with strategic lacing

SUPER CUTE shoes. I first ordered a size smaller than what DD wears from other brands. Elsewhere it's 12 watts, but in WeeStep 11 (which comes in one width, and it is wide!). With her wide feet, we usually wear her in StrideRite, but I wanted something that wasn't a pink/purple/shiny/horrible color combo and the StrideRite material was looking a bit dated. But we were also disappointed when downsizing when the shoe (especially the heel) was too big. During a test run in the living room, they slipped off our daughter's feet and her heels just rode up as she walked. I switched to the next smaller size, which was definitely too small. After some hesitation we ordered a new size (ie one size smaller than what she wears on other brands but true size according to the WeeStep chart) but THIS time we ended up with a pre-laced 'faux tie'. and replaced with real laces that come with the shoes. I tightened them up more than you can with fake ones and got them working again and they went through. They're a little loose, but their heel doesn't lift at all, so we're fine with that. And they are absolutely adorable, classic and durable. Worried the top edge of the back of the heel might be too hard and chafe her Achilles tendon but it worked. Glad we persevered. We've kept the shorter laces in case we want to go back to the pre-tie method (the pre-tie method holds the shoe in place with an elastic tongue that tucks under the tongue with a pair of short laces for demonstration purposes only). ) as soon as her feet get bigger and we don't tie her shoes so tight anymore.
