When force is applied to this connector, the wires will pop out. This has happened to me twice while stripping and installing. While they appear to be waterproof, that doesn't give me a long-term guarantee of mechanical integrity. This connector will work if your cord is NEVER taut and you are very careful, otherwise look for something else like an airplane connector. There's nothing worse than cords coming out of a power plug when you're out or doing something important.
