I have an Asus WS x299 Sage motherboard and it has USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports on ASM3142 chipset. This case didn't work at all with these ports. When I tried to copy a file several hundred MB in size, it just got truncated down the middle. I tried with another SSD and the result was the same. When I plug it into a USB 3.0 port, it works fine. I bought another case that also has an RTL9210B and it works great. Anyway, I returned it. This review is for information only in case someone has the same motherboard.
