I used this ring light on an Olympus TG-4 and it provides good, even illumination for close-up shots. Sometimes there is severe overexposure in some areas of the image, but this can usually be avoided with some camera movement. It's a pity that Olympus doesn't give decent instructions with light. It seems that this has helped avoid a lot of problems for some users. It seems that many of the bad reviews are due to users abusing the ring light. For example, some users leave the flash on, thinking that the ring light must somehow diffuse the light from the flash. Instead, the flash needs to be off and the LED setting on for the ring light to illuminate when the camera is in macro mode. Here are some YouTube video links showing you how to use the light: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GC9b6B42UlI and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNone545OkA. Some of the reviewers here are also good at describing how to use the ring light. As a side light, the light is not very bright, so bright light, such as B. sunlight, block it. Then I could use my Nikon camera with a macro lens and a Nissan ring light that gives a nice bright light.
