Review on 💡 Ensenior Ultra Thin LED Recessed Downlight - High Brightness for Industrial Electrical Applications by Oliver Waiker

I was looking for recessed lights for our kitchen and dining room. Criteria: LED, daylight color, flush mounting and easy installation. After researching many options, including everything available at local hardware and lighting stores, I chose this set of 12 lights because they met the criteria for best overall value. When I received the lamps they were all delivered in good condition. I tested all the bulbs and found them to be the same in terms of brightness, wattage and color temperature. The installation went well, although it wasn't very easy - not because of the lamps, but because of the nature of the installation: you have to get the design and layout right, take into account where the beams and obstructions are, and cleanly cut , holes in the Round drywall to the correct size. Cutting holes was a problem. These lights require a 6.1" hole which I was unable to find a standard round hole bit for my drill bit. I tried a few adjustable jets but they were practically useless. I ended up using a curved blade oscillating saw, which worked fairly well, but I couldn't get perfect circles, which turned out to be a problem when I used the light. I had to use a box cutter to match the holes when installing the lights. Glad I didn't cut holes that were too big. The wiring was simple and clear. I liked the easy way to connect the lamps in series - just strip the wires and connect them to the terminal blocks that came with the power supply for each lamp. It was quick and worked great. I'm deducting a star because of the springs on the headlights. They are too small, very cramped and difficult to handle. And the plastic clips kept coming loose as I struggled to fit the lights into the imperfect holes. In the end I just gave up trying to reattach the plastic clips and found that the headlights held up just as well without them. This was the only downside and it's relatively minor as it doesn't affect the function of the headlights in any way. In general, I am very satisfied with the result of the project. My wife loves her bright kitchen and dining room! She is very happy and that makes everything worth it :)
