We bought a wall mount that fits VESA 100x100 for the TV we wanted to mount. Unfortunately, the concrete wall they were trying to install it on didn't suit us. A few weeks later I converted an old 37 inch TV into a (huge) PC monitor and wanted to hang it on a wall in another house. Unfortunately, this TV was VESA 200x200. Instead of buying another wall mount, I opted for this adapter plate. She did a great job. I am very happy with the end result. It's very strong and the included standoffs give extra flexibility as the screw that came with my wall mount was too long for the depth of the TV's screw hole. Standoffs solved this problem without having to go to your local hardware store to find out to buy new ones This is a very good and inexpensive solution.
