Review on Max Marlow Tall Scratch Post by Joseph Willis

I was looking for a well designed scratching post for my cat Izzy. She is by no means a small cat and this scratching post withstands her feline attacks very well without swaying or tipping over. I like dark colors as they go well with the rest of my home decor (gothic win points). The post with the cat actually has an extra part that is not shown in the picture. This is a stuffed animal in the shape of a bird (similar to an elastic cord) except it hangs from a spring and screws directly into the board from the side. It was very easy to put together and although one of the tools provided was a small Allen wrench I didn't need to use it as everything was easily turned by hand. When I first assembled it, my cat ignored it for a few minutes, but as soon as I started scratching it, she was very intrigued and wanted to join in the fun. If you find your cat ignoring the scratching post, try sprinkling some catnip on it and it should work!
