Max Marlow Tall Scratch Post Review

PURCHASED on 3/6/16 I like the product in general but after a few hours our kitty broke the hanging toy. They were good to replace but should be made a little more durable for the price. UPDATE 12/17/16: As you can see from the photos, the base is completely broken in half. And that would make sense since it's made of pressed wood and not plywood. I recommend finding a cat scratching post made out of better materials.

There are no instructions, so I had to guess. It stands upright so I think it's ok. Looks good and my little man loves to throw himself on and hang on to it while chewing on the top padding. The bird is hanging from an elastic rope, which is a lot of fun to shoot from its nails. A good price in my opinion. As for durability, I have no idea how long this will last for older cats. Something to consider. Also, the holes are covered with fabric, but they are there. Just for info

My cat loves this post. He started using it almost immediately after I set it up. The best part is that he has never scratched the furniture since he has been using it! Highly recommended!
