Review on Max Marlow Tall Scratch Post by Stacey Roberts

I have tried several scratching posts with my cat over the past two years. He's an indoor cat and I adopted him as a kitten (so he's 2 years old now) so he loves to scratch on a quality scratching post that won't tear apart furniture. At first I bought carpet rods from a pet store, but after a few weeks they broke and the carpet strands were flying all over the house. Decided to try something from Revain. This was definitely the best post I've ever had. The cat loves it and it's very high quality - the base is heavy and the toys are still there (a first for scratching posts with toys attached that I've had). So I recommend it, but I've only had it for three months and the threads of the rope are already coming loose because the cat scratches so passionately. I doubt most cats can break this post that easily, but it disappoints me. For $25 I expected it to last more than 3 months.
