Bought after a fire that destroyed my other 3DS. Yes, it's region-locked and only plays Japanese games etc. It worked fine for a while, but it seems cheap now - the hinge is slightly tilted and makes a terrible noise when opened, as are the front and inner cameras. do not work and cause a system crash when opened in a game or application. When put to sleep, it often won't wake up, forcing me to shut down the system and lose progress. I have my doubts as to whether this console was brand new and I will never buy anything without a warranty again. . I bought it early July 18th and the problems started sometime in December; The camera issue is the most recent and started a few weeks ago (early February). Absolutely funny. I'll add a photo later.
