I hesitate to give anything to my dog so I did what any responsible dog owner would do, I tried first. Did a bit of outdoor work that day and beat up one of them before breaking a sweat. To be honest, it tastes wise, it's not the horrible watery kind. It felt like drinking Gatorade, only without the sugar. After 24 hours with no side effects, I gave my dog about half a pack before a long walk in the area on day 85F. He doesn't drink water and often seems dehydrated from these walks, but he was a little different that day. Less language, more research. Be aware that my dog has a particularly weak stomach, which often results in diarrhea or lethargy. It might just look like its owner, but I digress. I gave him the other half of an easy to drink sachet when I got home. So far, so good. As usual, we retreated to the evening pet couch, followed by a light dinner of prescription wet food and some low-fat dog treats. He was perfectly fine and seemed significantly more hydrated and happier. I would say it works great. I'm at the mercy of future technology that will allow me to understand my dogs words, but until then I'm going insane and my instincts tell me this is a superior product.
