Review on Tamron 17 50Mm Aspherical Pentax K Mount by Stanislaw Mirzalek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing I've ever used, I recommend it to everyone!

You couldn't buy a regular Nikon standard zoom for that kind of money, and even if you did, it wouldn't have the same aperture. What can we say about an analog camera with the same qualities? The option of using Tokina or this "Tampon" was ultimately selected. Tokina was impressed by the metal construction, but she was terrified by the sharpness and strange behavior it exhibited in the backlight. The tampon has more even properties, but it is evident that its lifespan will be significantly shorter. The vibration compensator does not qualify as an additional incentive either. Just getting started with it; it's possible that I'll make some modifications.

Pros
  • Aperture, cost, weight, and dimensions are all included. Harmony in terms of quality overall.
Cons
  • Strong loss of sharpness at the periphery of the picture, mild chromate in problematic locations, speed of focusing, geometric distortion, glare, thin lens hood, and plastic construction are some of the issues with this camera. You will need to select thoughtfully.
