I'm pretty sure they were advertised as pads, but they aren't. Lightweight rubber cover.

I like the feel, it almost always feels cool, but while it tends to stay put, there's nothing holding it there. It helps, however the feel of the headset is a little high for the price in my opinion. I just don't want to give them back.
