Review on Case Logic DVB 200 Liner Capacity by David Pullen

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Discs not visible, book pockets too small, disc pockets have to be torn open.

Pages are black mesh "cloth" and book/title page holders are made with translucent plastic pockets attached to black cloth pages. However, the disc pockets are made from the same black fabric so they are completely opaque - without removing the disc you can't tell what the disc is! And it's hard to remove one. Very few of my discs show enough "name" above the bag to know what it is. The intervertebral disc pockets also don't open when making them, I had to "tear open" the pocket slots in 99% of the cases and it was a struggle. The biggest disappointment for me is that the "booklet/cover" pockets are too tight! These bags were the main reason I bought this bag. When I pull the front cover out of the original DVD case, it is upside down (front, back and back on one sheet). I figured I could just fold it in half to fit in my pocket. nope I have to fold them three times to fit in my bag. Not only does this mess up the front pages, it also makes the transfer from the original DVD boxes to this Case Logic thing much slower and more difficult. Others have pointed out problems with pages being difficult to remove, to rearrange them, etc., and these problems are also true. I'm also having some issues with the zip and only recently bought this and have been using it for less than a week but I'm afraid the zip is about to fail. I am about 2/3 full and still working on it because the process is very slow due to various issues. All in all I'm pretty disappointed.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model
