There were a lot more petals than what I ended up needing. Loved the amount, as other reviewers stated it does have an initial smell that you need to air out and you do need to separate them individually. I put them in a box after separating them and the smell dissipated quickly. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because some of the petal packets were so hard pressed that they were unable to be separated and just tore if you tried. Other petals were extremely easy to separate however those ones lacked the rose petal imprinting and just looked like weird shaped fabric.
