, this bracelet is in no way inferior to its main competitor and is significantly cheaper. In fact, compared to the "other" brand on my Nikon Z7, it's way better than the competition. I've used a competitor brand on my Nikon D500 and D750 with and without battery grips and L-mounts - they've been fine. I've tried using them on my Z7 and Z6 which both have L brackets - the other brand doesn't really fit right. This strap works well BUT only if you remove the bulky bracket and just attach the bottom strap to the bar on the L bracket. This setup gives you full access to everything, especially the battery compartment.
