Lots of complaints about the quality. I had similar issues using my HDMI connected laptop which can only display up to 30MHz. However, once I built my desktop on a Gigabyte TRX40 Designare motherboard bundled with GC-Titan Ridge for Thunderbold 3 displays and loaded its drivers, the monitor's quality immediately improved to its full 4k potential. My main complaint about the monitor is that it doesn't have a built-in speaker.
