An obvious attraction for the cat owner is that these bags prevent large jars of tightly packed pumpkin from spoiling, considering the cat only needs a small amount in their food . I tried freezing something in ice cube trays, but neither I nor the cat liked the result. However, the added water ("just enough to touch") in these handy pouches doesn't make them a good substitute for tightly packed squash. While the SPP was only a modest help to the cat in question, these bags did not help at all. I use them to spice up Icelandic yogurt or add them to small batches of baking mixes. I love that Weruva didn't add any unnecessary extra ingredients, but it would be better (and I'd feel better about the more lavish packaging) if the contents were thicker. Perhaps it would make more sense to add it to dry food rather than wet food which I have used it with. I'll try regular dry pumpkin powder.
