These hooks were expensive but I figured if they held up as advertised then they were worth it. Boy are they overrated! First, they are huge! I thought they should have good holding power. I put one on the side of my bathroom cabinet to hold my hair dryer, I made sure to follow the directions. The next morning the hook and my new hair dryer were on the floor. I cleared the area again and tried another hook, pushing the front all the way down to make sure it was secure on the side. This time I waited half a day before hanging the hair dryer (it's a small hair dryer that weighs next to nothing) on the hook. In the morning he was back on the ground. These hooks are not as advertised. They claim the hooks are strong, but they hardly support any weight, and my cabinet is MDF, so it's smooth with no wood fibers or anything to interfere with the supposed suction power of these hooks. The only thing that has stayed on the hook so far is my almost weightless washcloth.
