I have a Dell XPS 15 laptop but unfortunately the charger is broken. This charger was well priced compared to the new Dell charger. The description says it should work fine with my laptop, but it turns out that the overall charging power for this charger is much less than the original Dell charger. This charger is 45w while my original Dell was 145w. I didn't think this would be a problem as the description and reviews said it worked with my laptop. But after plugging in, my laptop warns me that the charger is too weak and it is recommended to use a higher capacity charger. It takes 2 times longer to charge the battery, but it will be charged. It's just a little annoying that I have to keep it plugged in longer. Generally, if you have an XPS with higher wattage requirements, drop it.
