I bought this to vacuum up the stairs without lugging the rack up and down, but I use it quite often to clean up a little mess I have I usually get dustpan and broom out, because this vacuum cleaner is very light and ready to use at any time. I have a robot vacuum for full house cleaning, but the Kaloric is great for cleaning behind doors and in places where the robot can't get through. I had back surgery and Kaloric is so light it doesn't bother me at all.
